2023: A Year of Nurturing the New
Foundations of Regenerative Culture Workshop
May, 2022 - The Eden Community training team facilitated the first of these workshops. Twelve participants from home bases as far-flung as Denver, Florida, South Carolina, and British Columbia converged on Abilene and were sent back to their own places, we believe, with a fresh understanding of what it means to be beloved community in Christ and to cultivate regenerative culture where they live.

The Eden Fellows Graduate Fellowship at Abilene Christian University
August 2022 - The first Eden Fellows cohort launched with three fellows.
August 2023 - We look forward to the start of the second cohort at the end of this summer. Four students are already in the group, and applications are still being received. Learn more and apply here.
The Eden Fellows cohort gathers for a silent retreat — stepping away, even if momentarily, from the many demands on our hearts, minds, and lives to make space to be with God: listening, learning, and connecting.
Our Neighbors at Carver Townhomes
December, 2022 - Abilene Development Enterprises (AbiDE), a new nonprofit established and operated by members of the Eden Community, purchased the Carver Townhomes, an 18-unit affordable housing development.
January, 2023 - We began learning how to manage these homes with attention to the principles of regenerative culture - God's love and life. Our hope is that as we all learn and grow together, this neighborhood increasingly will be a place of human flourishing in a vibrantly healthy natural and built setting. Pray with us!
